This wasn’t the greatest snip, but I liked the insight it gave into Cory’s psyche and history. Here is “Forest”:

An image that reads: He cringed at the thought of his old self. Dreaming of a future so small and simple. The young farrier and soldier could never have imagined his life now. Couldn't have dreamed of what this world would be. Could be. He hadn’t yet witnessed the evils humanity was capable of. The wars, massive and global. The death and destruction. The poisoning of forests, seas, and skies. And that was nothing compared to the evil close at home…" From NO DREAM LIKE FOREVER by Nora Shear The word "forest" is highlighted in pink, and there are gold netlike decorations on the upper left and lower right corners. Above and below the text, there are gold flourishes with a single heart as an anchor.
